I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the State University of New York at Buffalo. My Ph.D. advisor is Prof. Chunming Qiao.
I previously earned a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering with a concentration in Communication Networks and Fault-Tolerant System Design. Motivated by the rapid emergence of quantum technologies as a defining computing paradigm of the 21st century, I pursued a second Ph.D. to focus deeply on quantum information. My research focuses on distributed quantum error correction (DQEC), topological QEC (TQEC), hypergraph product (HGP) and balanced product code constructions, and quantum LDPC (qLDPC) codes, particularly in the context of multi-QPU quantum systems. I am enthusiastic about leveraging my expertise in classical computing, networking, and fault-tolerant system design to develop scalable and reliable architectures for next-generation fault-tolerant distributed quantum computing.
